All original 32ร32 icon sprites from CASTLE1.EXE, extracted as PNG files. These are the actual Windows 3.1 .ICO resources created by artist Paul Canniff โ every monster, item, spell effect, terrain tile, and UI element in the game. Displayed at 2ร scale (64ร64 pixels). Hover for the original filename.
When you drag an item onto your paper doll, the cursor changes to show the item you're carrying. These 32ร32 cursor graphics are what you see attached to your mouse pointer during inventory management โ one of the earliest implementations of this interface paradigm in a PC RPG.
Larger bitmaps embedded directly in the executable. These include town building graphics (multiple tiles wide), ball spell animations (Cold Ball, Fireball, Ball Lightning), and overworld terrain pieces. Unlike the icon sprites, these are stored as raw Windows BMP resources rather than ICO format.
